Germination:10-21 days at 22-25 °C. Requires light for germination. Cover seed lightly with vermiculite after sowing. Keep soil slightly moist but not wet. From Stage II reduce the temperatures to 18-20 °C.

Growing On:Transplant plugs after 5-7 weeks into pots: 1 plug/10 cm pot or 1-3 plugs/10-15 cm pot.

Media:Use a well-drained perennial substrate pH 6.0-7.5

Photoperiod/ Light:Long day plant. Long day (14-16 h) supports flower initiation. Night interruption is possible. Keep high light levels to improve the plant quality. In winter and in early spring additional assimilation light is required for pot plant production.

Temperature:Grow at 10-18 °C or outdoors

Fertilization:Moderate to high fertilization levels are required.
